ISR 2015: Registration

Dates and Fees

For your fee, you will get

access to the lectures
printed copies of, or electronic access to, extra material provided by the lecturers
Monday-Friday: coffee breaks, lunch
on Wednesday: excursion, dinner

Registration Data

To start the registration process, send the following information in email with subject “ISR 2015 registration” to the local organizer (johannes dot waldmann at htwk minus leipzig dot de). Please send from an institutional email address, as we might ignore others.

your full name and postal address (this will be printed on the invoice and receipt)
your name and (short form of) your institution (this will be printed on your name tag - where space is tight)
which track (basic or advanced) you want to attend
a brief statement of your background and motivation (e.g., “I am working on a thesis on topic X, supervised by professor Y, and I want to attend ISR to learn about Z.”)

also, if applicable,

whether you want to take the exam of the basic course,
the title of your poster presentation,
dietary restrictions,
special needs (e.g., wheelchair access).

Registration Process

You send your registration data by email to the local organizer.
We send to you a confirmation (by email) and an invoice for the participation fee.
You send the money, according to the instructions for bank transfer attached to the invoice.
Once we receive the money, your registration is completed. We will send a preliminary receipt by email, and you will get a written receipt during the school.
Make sure the money is in our account before the deadline. Else, you will have to pay extra.

Make sure to follow payment instructions exactly. (Account number is not enough - we need the reference number to trace your money). Do not send money before you get the invoice. We cannot process credit cards.

ISR 2015 Student Fund

There will be an ISR 2015 student fund, donated by a sponsor. This fund will be used to reduce the participation fee for students who could not otherwise attend. To apply for this fund, state your particular reason in the registration email, and include a personal letter of recommendation from a professor at your university, or from a researcher in rewriting.
